Surfing

Today was a great day. We had to get up at 6 o´clock. Then we drove to the beach to go surfing. Everybody had lots of fun. It was difficult to get the perfect wave and to stand up on the board. The beach is great. The waves were very high and you had to be careful not to drown. The shopping was great and everybody got some nice gifts at the 3rd street promenade.

The second day

After a short beagle-breakfast in the morning, we left the hotel at 10 o’clock. We drove 5 hours and we had a lunch break at „in ’n out“. We ate some burgers with French fries. When we arrived at Los Angeles, we stopped at Costco, a shop like metro. After checking in to the hostel in Santa Monica, we went to third street promenade, a very big shopping street. We are looking forward to go surfing tomorrow!!

We’re in Vegas

first night in vegas (38 degrees) walking down the strip without sleeping for 28 hours, BUT: it’s amazing to walk through Vegas (with a group of 18 unmotivated tired guys) and see a lot: watershow in front of the Bellagio and Cesars Palace and a lot of people loosing money in the casinos -> first day was very nice but let’s see whats coming in Santa Monica at the beach !
